Crocheted Waistcoat

Crochet waistcoat with square neck, two large red buttons striped borders and thicker stripes either side of the opening. The back is visible through the neck opening to show that the central striped extend to just below the neck where they turn to form a closed box with a bright circle in the middle.

Fiona Halliwell, one of our team of volunteers at the Collection, has created display boards taking the colourwork theme through Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter. Using images of items in our heritage collection she has created a seasonal display, Autumn shows a colourful display of autumn leaves & acorns.
