Collection Open Day – Heritage Open Day – 16 September 2025
16 September 2025 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
An opportunity to explore the Knitting & Crochet Guild’s Collection of garments and household items (knitted by hand, using a domestic knitting machine or crocheted) , publications, yarn samples and shade cards, tools and gadgets.
This is an Open Day and the Collections Team will have a small selection of items on display for you to enjoy.
There will be hourly tours of 45 mins at 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00
Note on accessibility. Our Collection is housed on the first floor of on old building. Access is by stairs. Unfortunately, it is not possible to visit the Collection if you are unable to climb up and down stairs.
