The features wedding dresses from around the world\, death masks\, miniature pocket alters\, emotion filled quilts and stunning examples of skill all done in the name of love. The exhibition also include archival pieces from some incredible textile collections. \n\n\n\nOpen Tuesday-Sunday. Closed on Mondays.

SUMMARY:Spring sparkle: knit or crochet a bracelet with beads and wire - 11 April 2026
DESCRIPTION:Taking inspiration from a session at the Convention\, we will have a go at using fine craft wire to make a beaded bracelet. We will provide the beads and wire for you\, along with workshop handouts. \n\n\n\nThis will be a self-led session\, with Armelle supervising the knitters and Anna supervising the crocheters. \n\n\n\nThe wire is very fine and bendy so it isn’t hard on your fingers. We have been testing it! \n\n\n\nWhat you need to know before this session: \n\n\n\nKnitters: basic knitting knowledge. \n\n\n\nCrocheters: slip knot\, chains\, double crochet\, working in rows with a turning chain. How to follow a basic chart. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEither knitting needles 4mm; or crochet hooks in small sizes e.g. 2mm\, 3mm\, 4mm.\n\n\n\nYou might want to bring a selection so you can swap size if necessary.\n\n\n\nPaper and pencil.\n\n\n\nEither a small saucer or a piece of felt/fabric/tea towel to put your beads on so they don’t roll away.\n\n\n\nStitch markers.\n\n\n\nTape measure.\n\n\n\nScissors.\n\n\n\nTapestry needle.\n\n\n\nKnitters only: a small amount of waste yarn.\n\n\n\n\nThis session is rescheduled from November 2025.

In 2026\, we will be celebrating our 20th show – Wonderwool Wales 2026. It takes place on 25th and 26th April at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells\, Mid Wales. Spread across 3 halls\, with approx. 220 exhibitors\, it is truly the highlight of the wool & textile festivals on the calendar. We would love to see you join us at this special wool & craft fair held here in Wales and experience the unique & friendly atmosphere of Wonderwool Wales 2026.
