DESCRIPTION:The Derbyshire Machine Knitters Branch is holding another workshop. \n\n\n\nIn this workshop\, we will be exploring tuck stitch\, including how to identify punchcards suitable for tuck stitch and how to design your own tuck stitch patterns. \n\n\n\nPlaces are limited\, and so please book using this form if you wish to attend: https://forms.gle/2GM9NSf6DfEpKasCA. \n\n\n\nPlease bring your own machine\, table and yarn if this is physically possible\, but do have one or two that we can lend if necessary. \n\n\n\nElectronic machines cannot be plugged in unless they have been PAT tested within the last 12 months\, but everything we are doing can be done using hand-manipulation of the needles\, and using any make or model of machine as long as it can ‘hold’. \n\n\n\nIf you have a punchcard machine\, please bring some punchcards with you. \n\n\n\nTea & coffee provided\, but bring a packed lunch

Throughout the week there are an extensive range of exhibitions\, classes and events\, which will cover many different subjects. These usually include; weaving\, spinning\, dyeing\, Fair Isle and lace knitting as well as many other fascinating subject areas. \n\n\n\nEvents take place from the most southern tip of the Shetland\, right up to the most northerly island of Unst\, famous for its beautiful lacework\, with many locations in between.
