This workshop is an opportunity to play with colours, yarns, images and found objects  – ribbon, shells, feathers, sweet papers and so on – with the aim of getting ideas for your projects. These can be anything from a garment to a decorative piece.

This method is also useful when planning to decorate a room or choose curtains and so on.

Preparation

Collect and bring a variety of pictures and images – from magazines, your own photos, scraps of coloured paper, ribbon, lengths of yarn, shells, feathers and so on ….

What to bring

Bring the items you collected to the workshop. Sheet of large paper will be available or you can bring your own – clean flat cardboard is fine. Any size from A3 (2 A4 sheets together) to A2.

Additional material

Glue stick, stapler, pins, sticky fixers are all useful if you have them – some will be provided.
