Becoming a member will introduce you to like-minded crafters, supported by our founding patrons Kaffe Fassett and Sasha Kagan, and industry and academic based patrons:
- Lorna Hamilton-Brown MBE (‘Machine knitting is a unique craft in its own right – I actively promote and teach it.’);
- Debbie Abrahams (‘Knitting generates creative energy which relaxes, inspires and nurtures the soul.’);
- Jane Crowfoot (‘Crochet is a platform for creativity, which in turn validates the skills of so many.’);
- Louisa Harding;
- and an amazing network of creative and enthusiastic volunteers
The Guild has a welcoming network of groups who gather regularly to discuss their yarn-based passions as well as a growing online community.
Whether you are just starting on your crafting journey or have been passionate about crochet, machine and hand knitting for many years, our Guild gatherings and website forums are the place to find out more.
