Comforts for Soldiers
A booklet published late in 1914, as the first issue of a short-lived magazine, 'The Needle-Worker'. There are knitting and crochet patterns for various garments for soldiers, such as scarves, mittens and socks, and the Kitchener self-fitting vest, as wells as a bonnet and waistcoat for nurses, knitted in thick wool.
1960s Patons colour-work designs
A catalogue of 80 1960s pattern leaflets from Patons. The designs are for men and women and feature colour work, in a variety of techniques - mostly sweaters but also cardigans and other garments.
1962 P&B Knitting for You
Illustrates 74 pattern leaflets that were available in 1962, with 8 further knitting patterns. A section on rug-making is included. All the pattern leaflets shown are in the KCG collection.
