K&CG Oxford Branch Regional Day – 29 June 2024
29 June @ 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
The Oxford Regional Day is back in 2024 featuring keynote speakers Lindy Zubairy on her crochet life and Emma Vining with Diana Bird (Chilton Grounds Farm) talking about an exciting yarn and pattern collaboration.
We have a range of workshops to choose from:
- Crochet texture (introduction to cables) (Lindy Zubairy);
- Faroese Knitting (Elspeth May),
- Double Knitting (James Edwards, Oxford Yarn Store),
- Two-colour Knitted Cables (Jacky Ridgill), and
- Cast on a ‘Ridge and Furrow’ Shawl (Emma Vining and Diana Bird).
There will also be a Knitting & Crochet Guild Collection Trunk Show featuring some fascinating examples of vintage items.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
