Slaithwaite WorldWide Knit in Public – 8 June 2024
8 June @ 11:15 am – 3:00 pm
The knitters of Slaithwaite (Guild and non-Guild members) along with the Guild Collection Team will be knitting in public in the village of Slaithwaite, near Huddersfield (HD7 5HF) for this year’s WWKIP Day.
Come along armed with your knitting project, garden chair, snacks and umbrella. You’ll be able to find us from 11.15am in the centre of the village and we’ll be knitting until 2pm, so you can join us any time that suits you. Starter knitters very welcome, kits and ‘learn to knit’ instructions available along with a community scarf which you can add a few rows to. Come and learn and talk knitting with us!
