I cannot login

You need to login to see member-only content on our website. This Help article is intended to help you if you cannot login.

There are many reasons you may not be able to login.

  • You may not have registered to use the Sheep App to manage your membership.
    Use the Login option from the website menu and on the next page, click on the “Register” link at the bottom. This will let you register an online account with our membership system that also lets you login to the website. If for some reason you do not want to set up an online membership account, please contact our website team explaining this and asking them to set up a website account for you.
  • You cannot find the option to login.
    The Login option is on the menu on each page. If you cannot see the menu, click on the stacked horizontal bars in the coloured band at the top of the page. Alternatively, visit the home page and click on the “Members – login now” button.
  • You are not using the correct password (or cannot remember it).
    Use the menu Login option or home page “Members – login now” button to load the login page. At the bottom of that page there is a link “Reset your password”. Click on that and you will be sent an email with a link to set a new password.
  • You have changed your email address.
    Your email address is what the website uses to check whether you are a member. If you have changed your email address since joining, you need to tell our membership team. They can update your membership record, and will tell you that you need to set up a new Sheep online account with the new email address (see “You may not have registered to use the Sheep App” above.
  • There is a technical problem with the website.
    Occasionally we have experienced a temporary issue in which our website does not recognise logins. The symptom is that you login successfully but the website still displays pages without member-only information. If this happens, go to the home page and use the “Press here if you have logged in but see this message” button.
  • There is a technical problem with our membership system.
    You may be unlucky and try to login while our membership system is offline. Try again a few minutes later.
  • Your membership has lapsed or not been fully processed.
    Use the Sheep App to check whether your membership has lapsed. If you have recently joined (or renewed after lapsing), please wait an hour or so for the new membership to filter through our system.

If you are still not able to login successfully, please ask our membership team to check your membership status.
