A News Item is a post in the category “News”.
Please make sure that the post has a featured image, and that the image is square or wider than it is high (so that the news items line up neatly in listings).
In addition to setting the “News” category (listed using content view News [latest 10 items] and Latest news and News items [all items]), some news items may justify additional categories:
- Guild News – items associate with the Guild (listed using content view Guild News and Guild News – latest)
- Publications News – items associated with Guild publications (listed using content view Publications News ). This should not be used for Slipknot, Across the Needlebed or Videos as they have their own “latest” listings – unless there is a special reason for listing them.
- Other news – items with no specific topic (not yet listed)
