Have you ever felt stuck in a rut with two-colour brioche rib? Or got sick of having to slide back to the beginning to work the second colour? Perhaps you just want to explore more of what brioche has to offer – then this workshop is for you!

Syncopated brioche” is just a fancy term for swapping your colour dominance mid-row – something which can create great colour effects in your knitting. We’ll learn how to do this alongside “one-pass” brioche – how to work both your colours in a single pass – no more sliding!

The techniques we learn in this workshop are both used in my Morvoren wrap pattern, and along the way we will also cover some brioche increases and decreases. Ideally attendees will have tried two-colour brioche before, but if necessary we can cover the basics so confident beginners are welcome.

We will begin with a two-colour cast on, and then move straight into one-pass brioche rib. As our swatch grows we will incorporate paired increases and decreases and syncopated brioche.
