Description
At meetings we do show and tell and various workshops. We also have a newsletter. Venue accessible for wheelchairs. Payable public parking is available nearby.
Cost: £5 per person per meeting.
Meeting dates
Third Saturday of the month. 10am – 2pm.
2025 dates
- 5th April (early date as the college is closed for easter) – Second City Yarns
- 17th may – cabling using two colours, Steve Foreman
- We will also be attending a fashion show of clothes designed for children with medical needs or disabilities which affect their ability to be able to wear shop bought clothes comfortably, organised by the college. We are providing leg warmers as it is 80s themed
- 21st June – Emma Vining will come to talk about design
- July and august we will sort nearer the time as the college is shut. It’s likely to be a gathering in a coffee shop.
- 20th September Monica Russell, fair isle
- 18th October – repairing knitted garments
- November visit by two physiotherapists to discuss looking after our bodies whilst crafting
- No meeting in December
