2026 dates
- January 17th- Lindy Zubairy will teach us about Tunisian crochet.

- April 18th – A talk from Ashleigh-Ellan Kavanagh – bring whatever you are working on so that you can work and listen.
- Ashleigh-Ellan Kavanagh is a writer, knitting enthusiast, and the proud instigator of a completely one-sided, tongue-in-cheek beef with Tom Daley. With a sharp wit and a passion for uncovering the unexpected cultural histories behind everyday crafts, she explores the intersections of creativity, identity, and why knitting deserves more respect.
- In her talk, Threads of Resistance, she explores how women have used textiles as a form of soft rebellion and resistance throughout history.
- May 16th – To be decided.
- June 20th – To be Decided.
- July 18th and August 21st – the Branch will decide on these meetings nearer the time as the college is shut. It’s likely to be a gathering in a coffee shop. In 2025 they went to the Exchange in central Birmingham. It’s a lovely venue and they were not the only craft group there.
- September 19th – To Be Decided.
- October 17th – To Be Decided.
- November 21st – To Be Decided.
