Autumn leaves workshop with Catherine Henly – 9 Nov 2024

Catherine Henly will be running a workshop for the Bath Branch: Autumn Leaves – knit short rows and i-cords.
The leaves are made in cotton, and can be strung together to make decorative bunting.
What you will need
- Please bring your own copy of the pattern. The pattern costs $4.50 (about £3.61) and you can buy (and download it) from Ravelry. Either print the pattern or store it on your mobile device.
- DK yarn in your choice of colour and fibre (it will be easier to see what you are doing with a smooth yarn)
- 2.5 or 2.75mm knitting needles
- row counter
- wool needle to sew in ends
- Double pointed needles or a short circular needle in the same size as your use for the leaf to make an i-cord stalk (though you could complete this later).
You will need to know
You will need to know how to cast on and knit in garter stitch.
What you will learn
You will learn short rows, how to make an i-cord, basic shaping and sewing in of ends will be demonstrated during the workshop
