Black Joy! Up Close and Personal – 4 May – 25 August 2024

This thought-provoking exhibition highlights over 40 talented black artists from the South East. The contemporary artworks exhibited include painting, sign-writing, fashion, textiles, sculpture, collage, photography, and video, inviting you to explore the beauty and complexity of Black Joy.
There is also a vibrant accompanying programme of performances, workshops, talks and tours.
Black Joy! Up Close and Personal is presented by Playing the Race Card and curated by Lorna Hamilton-Brown RCA MBE (Knitting & Crochet Guild patron).
