The Great British Yarn Crawl is back.

This year it runs from Saturday 13 April to Sunday 30 June.

For anyone who loves visiting a yarn shop, it couldn’t be easier to take part. A real treat and a great excuse for a yarnie road trip.

You’ll be able to pick up a free Yarn Crawl card from any of the participating UK Hand Knitting premium yarn shops and collect your first stamp. Then, when you visit other participating shops you’ll be able to pick up more stamps. When you have six stamps, hand in your card to the last shop to be entered in a prize draw for lots of yarnie goodies (you need to have visited at least two different shops).

More than 1,000 of you returned completed cards last year and we’d like it to be even more this year.

There will be a chance to win 24 prizes for those that submit a crawl card. There will be eight prizes worth £100 and 16 worth £50 all made up of yarnie goodies. Plus there are eight instant win prizes worth £25 which will be sent to shops at random during the time the crawl is on – so you could be lucky with any purchase. We’ll be sharing more about what’s in the prizes on our social media.
