Blaise Wool Festival – 4 February 2024

Join in this annual celebration of BISHOP BLAISE, the Patron Saint of Woolcombers, and Bradford’s proud woolly history.

It’s a great Wooltastic day out for the whole family!

ENTERTAINMENT

The day will include;

  • Live performances include Hall Royd Brass Band and Bradford Voices Choir.
  • Exhibition and demonstrations from the Bradford Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers. Try your hand!
  • Bishop Blaise himself will be telling the story of how thousands used to celebrate this day in February.
  • Fantastic permanent displays.
  • As well as market stalls, and food and hot drinks vans!

As part of the festival, there cwill be 3 X felting workshop sessions with artist Naseem Derby. The sessions will run at 11:30, 12:30 and 14:00.

The first 2 sessions are pre-bookable online via Eventbrite, and the 3rd session will be bookable in person at reception on the day. There are 16 spaces available for each session.
