Fernhill Fibre: a local wool business – with Jill Hunter – 12 October 2024.

12 October @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

Bath Branch is delighted that Jen from Fernhill Farm will be coming to talk to them about all things woolly! The farm is based at Compton Martin, raises sheep and produces both yarn and finished products. Fernhill is a verified regenerative eco farm and has commercial flocks of approximately 3,000 Romney Shetland sheep. Find out more at https://fernhillfibre.co.uk.

Fernhill Fibre

Fernhill Fibre provides fleece, yarn, fibre and finished wool products from theirflock of sheep on an eco-farm on the Mendip Hills in England. fernhillfibre.co.uk.

Jen will give the Branch a fascinating insight into wool and fibre production from sheep to yarn and finished garments, and the values that govern the Fernhill fibre business. You should also be able to see (and feel) samples of Fernhill products, and the Branch hopes Jen will have items for sale.

Feel free to bring your current project to work on while listening to Jen.
