The Folk Hall, New Earswick. York. YO32 4AQ

The Branch is keen to recruit new members

Description

A dedicated machine knitting club which meets on the last Tuesday of each month (apart from July and August).

We are a friendly group with a wealth of experience and members are always willing to share their knowledge and skills.

The club has quite a lot of knitting machine equipment which can be used for demonstrations and practicing techniques and lots of literature.

We are keen to attract new members and are located in an easily accessible area just outside York.

Access

Located just off the northern York ring road in lovely Arts and Crafts community building which has good access, including a lift to the first floor where we meet.

There is also a post office and café in the building.

Cost

£3 per session (October 2025). First two taster sessions are free..

Meeting dates

The fourth Tuesday of each month (except July and August) between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Any notes or news for the club is dealt with at the beginning of the meeting, we have a ‘show and tell’ if anyone has brought a recently finished project and then either a demonstration by a club member or a visitor.
