Description
This machine knitting club has its own machines so you do not need to bring your own.
The meeting room is on the first floor, but there is a lift and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
Cost
Annual membership of the Branch £5, if you join after July this is reduced to £3. Membership runs until the end of the calendar year.
Cost of attending meetings
Meetings without outside speaker: £5 non members, £3 members.
With outside speaker: £7 non members, £5 members. (Marked with *** in list of dates)
Tea/coffee and biscuits included.
Meeting dates
Second Monday of the month. Normally 2 pm – 4 pm, check for exceptions. Doors open at 1:30pm.

All meetings (except 13th April) are from 2pm to 4pm, and doors are open from 1.30pm.

- 9th Feb. Forum – accessories [including embellishment/overlocking/crochet/fringing, cord winding etc.

- 13th April 10.00-13.00. overlocker workshop
- 13th April 14:00-16:00. Back to basics – finishing – seams, shoulders, kitchener stitch
- 11th May. Forum – circular yokes
- 8th June. Lace
- 13th July. Back to basics – bands, buttonholes and pockets
- 10th Aug. Forum -sideways knitting
- 14th Sept ***. Claire Newberry – ribber – basics/set up/circular knitting/different ribs/ fisherman’s rib/ racking/ increasing and decreasing/ double jacquard
- 12th Oct. Back to basics – stitch formation [and fixing errors] /knitweave
- 9th Nov. Forum – socks and gloves
- 14th Dec. Annual celebration
