To allow more of you to visit regularly, the Collection team are opening the doors to Britannia Mill on the second Saturday of the month in 2024.

Do come along to meet the team and find out more about what they do. You can find the up-to-date list of dates for Open Days and Drop-in days on our Collection Open Days page.

Visiting the Collection is a great way to find out more about the objects we house and care for, to be inspired and meet some of our volunteers.

A Drop-In day is very informal, where you can visit the Collection and talk with the members of the Collections Team about what they do and the items they care for.

Open Days are less frequent and members of the Collections Team prepare a display of a selection of objects from the Collection as well as being available to talk about what they do.

All of these sessions are free to attend, drop-in events, and members and non-members are welcome. Our knowledgeable volunteers will share a behind-the-scenes look into caring for these wonderful items.
