The P&B Family Album was a free booklet from Patons & Baldwins in 1936, designed to sell pattern leaflets by showing them in the context of a fictional family.

Almost all the ‘Helps to Knitters’ leaflets in the Family Album are in the Guild collection, and members can request copies of any of them by emailing collections@kcguild.org.uk. (The ‘SL’ leaflets are mostly missing from the collection – they are reprints of patterns that appeared in Stitchcraft magazine.) A few pages of rug designs at the end of the album have been omitted.
