P&B Helps to Knitters 436 – Bathing Suit

This Bathing Suit pattern was advertised in 1933.

The “Crocus non-shrink” wool was advertised as specially suitable for bathing suits, as they would “keep their shape – are warm and cosy – prevent chills – do not shrink or fade”. However, people who ever wore a knitted wool swimsuit say that they invariably stretched when wet.
