Friday 4 September: 12:00pm to 2:00pm – Visit to Framework Knitters Museum

We have arranged an optional group visit to The Framework Knitters Museum at Chapel Street, Ruddington, Nottingham. NG11 6HE.
The additional cost is £9 per person (this will be added to your Convention invoice). Members are responsible for their transport to and from the museum..

The Framework Knitters Museum in Ruddington is a unique surviving example of a 19th century framework knitters’ yard.

The site has been lovingly restored as a living history museum.

You’ll discover how framework knitters and their families lived and worked here in Victorian times – the sights, the sounds and even the smells!

The museum has a cafe, and there will be an opportunity to buy your own lunch, drinks or snacks.

Information on how to get to the Framework Knitters Museum are in the “Getting Around” section of their “Accessibility” page.
