The Multi-Shade Shawl Workshop will include:

  • a short talk about using stripes, fades and gradients in shawl projects
  • a discussion about techniques for colour blending
  • the option to create a yarn wrap for project planning and/ or knit a small swatch to test stripe ideas

Participants should bring at least 2 – 3 or more shades of yarn for the yarn wraps and appropriate knitting needles if they wish to knit a small swatch.

Emma will bring shawl samples showing a wide variety of stripes, fades and gradients and card with double sided tape for the yarn wraps.
