Huge congratulations to Jeanette Sloan, knitwear designer and founder of BIPOC in Fiber, who has been named in King Charles’ first birthday honours list. Jeanette has been awarded the British Empire Medal in recognition of her career as a knitwear designer and her efforts to make the fibre space more inclusive, diverse and welcoming for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour.

To allow more of you to visit regularly, the Collection team are now opening the doors to Britannia Mill on the first Saturday of the month in 2023.
Our venue for 2024 was High Leigh Conference Centre, Lord Street, Hoddeston, Hertfordshire EN11 8SG.
Yarn journal is a bi-annual publication with a large and varied list of contributors. Members can claim £5 discount.

We are urgently looking for an organised and efficient administrator to join the Board of the
Knitting & Crochet Guild as our Secretary, keeping the Board accountable and overseeing all
company secretarial tasks. Our Secretary must be a member of the Guild.
