Our Collections Team will again be running Open Days and Drop-in Days in 2024.
This is an online talk on 11th February (6pm - 7pm UK time) by Dr Angharad Thomas, a volunteer at the Guild's Collection. It will cover her book "A Knitters Guide to Gloves" and give information about the Knitting & Crochet Guild of the UK, and our Collections.

Huge congratulations to Jeanette Sloan, knitwear designer and founder of BIPOC in Fiber, who has been named in King Charles’ first birthday honours list. Jeanette has been awarded the British Empire Medal in recognition of her career as a knitwear designer and her efforts to make the fibre space more inclusive, diverse and welcoming for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour.

Convention 2024 will be held from 6 to 8 September 2024, with the Annual General Meeting on 7 September.
This member-only event is now fully booked. We maintain a waiting list in case someone who has booked tells us they will not be able to attend – if you book now you will be added to that list.
Yarn journal is a bi-annual publication with a large and varied list of contributors. Members can claim £5 discount.
