Bath Branch – Short row knitting with Christina from In Stitches, Stroud – 13 June 2026
13 June @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Christina from In Stitches of Stroud will deliver a workshop to our Bath Branch on the topic “Short-row knitting”.
We will be working a few small swatches practising the German Short Row technique, how to convert the Wrap & Turn into German short rows and, if time, a look at Japanese Short Rows.
Christina will provide a handout.
What to bring:
- Needles
- Yarn in an appropriate thickness for your needles – ideally a plain colour that is easy to see the stitches, and not too thick
- Pen and paper for notes.
Christina says: ‘A knitter since an early age, I love all things yarn. In my previous corporate life, I used to dream of having a wool shop, and now I do, so living the dream can come true. I love to share my knowledge and learn new techniques and work with others.’
She is looking forward to meeting us.
