Leader: Steve Foreman
Craft: Hand Knitting
Experience: Intermediate
Summary: Learn how to knit cables that are a different colour from the background.
Description

By the end of this workshop you will be able to knit cables that are a different colour from their background.
We will make a swatch of crossing cables on a reverse stockinette background using an intarsia approach.
About the leader

I started knitting when I was working away from home as a way of “turning off” in the evenings. I always have several projects on the go – and always one that contains something new. In the past, I have “investigated” stranded knitting, lace knitting and steeks and have presented workshops at four Conventions on these and design topics.
