2026 Convention

Our 2026 Convention was held from 4th to 6th September 2026.

Our venue for 2026 was Eastwood Hall, Mansfield Road, Nottingham, NG16 3SS.

Convention ran from 4 pm Friday 4^th September to 4 pm Sunday 6^th September. Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) started at 11:00 am on Saturday 5^th September.

Shepley Yarns offered Guild members a 10% discount over the Convention weekend. This offer has now closed.

This talk, presented at Convention 2022, looks at the new wave of British knitwear designers that emerged in the late 1970s and 1980s, that was named a ‘Knitwear Revolution’ by fashion writer Suzy Menkes in her 1983 book of the same name.
